Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa
Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa is a culmination of the joining together of Girl Scouts of Lakota Council, Girl Scouts of Moingona Council, Girl Scout Council of North Iowa, Nishnabotna Girl Scout Council and Sioux Trails Girl Scout Council. This historic transformation is part of a Girl Scout of the USA initiative to form high-performance, community-based councils across the country.
Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls - all girls - where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build courage, confidence and character for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives - like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
